Last Saturday, Joseph and I accompanied some friends from church to volunteer at a fundraiser pancake breakfast. It was at the Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly organization. Joseph flipped more pancakes in our 3 hour shift than he could count, and I was clearing tables and manning the bake sale table. They sent us home with a container of leftover pancake batter. We cooked it up, and now have some "ready-to-eat" breakfasts in our freezer! We loved getting out and meeting some new people in the small and friendly community here.
