Our First Anniversary

Joseph and I celebrated our one year anniversary two weekends ago.  We can't believe how fast time has gone.  It's been the best year of our lives!  With the weather not being that great on our anniversary weekend, there really weren't any fun places to go and visit here in the Upper Peninsula.  So, we did some grocery shopping and cooked ourselves some chicken cordon blue and shared a bottle of Martinelli!

There was a "seafood fest" in town on Saturday night that we went and checked out.  

We decided to break out the frozen wedding cake on March 16th (the one year anniversary of our engagement) because we wouldn't be able to take the cake with us to Michigan.  The fondant frosting looked a little sketchy, but overall, it held up well for almost a year sitting in our little icebox freezer.
