Three days after our wedding, Joseph and I drove back down to SLC for the setting apart of Mom and Dad. It was an incredible experience to be there with all of my brothers and their wives and to meet an apostle of the Lord, Elder Ballard.
On Friday we drove back to UT for some more time with the whole family before Mom and Dad left. On Saturday we sat around and talked, ate some delicious food Mike cooked for us, and watched all the neices and nephews run around the house like crazy. It was one of those days you didn't want to end because you waited for it for so long and didn't know when it would happen like that again.
Rand and Uncle Joseph get along so well!
Scott & Jessica, Nathan & Bekah, and Joseph & I dropped Mom and Dad off at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT on Saturday afternoon. Now everyone in the family has been to the MTC in Provo! Mom didn't serve a mission before she married Dad, and when Dad went to Korea on his mission, he went to the LTM (Language Training Mission) in Oahu, Hawaii before he left.
The rest of the family met up at a Chinese restaurant near Mike's house for some early dinner. I don't think the staff of this place had ever seen a family so large order so many dishes!
Don't you miss those days?!
